ALL WHO ARE BORN IN JANUARY, CLAP YOUR HANDS I love the month of January. Maybe it is the fact that it is the start of the New Year and for the sports fan that I am, it is the NFL football playoffs and the winter sports season of basketball. ( I played basketball from 5th grade all the way through 11th grade. Even though I was not a gifted athlete, I enjoyed being a member of the team. ) For some reason, many musicians are born in January. I am one of them. We have many music ministers that celebrate birthdays in January. Dr. Linda Walters and Carol Ann Strader are two that come to mind. So for those of us born in perhaps the coldest of all months, clap your hands and stomp your feet, and celebrate life with singing, laughing, and enjoying the many great things life has to offer. I am grateful for the life, I have. I am a “miracle” child, because there were many complications surrounding my birth. But than again, isn’t all life a miracle? Let us remember, in this Respect Life month, the joy of living and let us remember to work for the sanctification of life in all its forms.
