“Put on, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if one has a grievance against another; as the Lord has forgiven you, so must you also do. And over all these put on love, that is the bond of perfection.” (Colossians 3:12-14) On this feast of the Holy Family, it is good to reflect on how we deal with one another, and that includes our own families. A question we can ask ourselves is, “What is preventing me from loving?” Perhaps, it is a lack a sleep, perhaps it is distractions. Coming to grips with the cause of our insensitivity is essential if we desire reform. The fourth verse of Bernadette Farrell’s hymn, “Love Goes On” says “Love our journey, love our goal. Though our faith may move the mountains, love alone can heal the broken; only love will make us whole.” Here is the music for the Holy Family to be presented at most of the Masses on Sunday, December 26. https://bit.ly/3smZ0e5 Holy Family hymns for Sunday, December 26 https://bit.ly/3mlbMGh Mary, Mother of God hymns
