What a moment this was in salvation history, when this Good News broke through the silence of this night. Can we at this moment savor the mystery of these words? Can we at this moment in salvation history relive the message of hope? Can we at this moment commit ourselves to the Prince of Peace? Can we be grateful for the favor he has granted to us poor sinners so much in need of a savior?
The angels’ message of truth echos thoroughout our land as it did many centuries ago. Are we prepared to listen as we sing these beautiful carols and spiritual songs this Christmas? Let us not miss out on the opportunity to receive God’s only begotten Son this Christmas.
Prayer:
Prince of Peace, we thank you for granting us your favor by being born among us in salvation history. Stay with us at this moment. May our music relive the mystery and bring peace to our world. Amen
