There is so many great Trinity hymns. One of these hymns is “Holy God, We Praise Thy Name”, the GROSSER GOTT. The text is based on the Te Deum, a text that is chanted in the Office of Readings in most seasons of the church year on Sundays, excluding Advent and Lent. This hymn was attributed to St. Nicetas of Remesiana (ca. 335-414). The tune was ascribed to Ignaz Franz (1719-1790) and translated by Clarence A. Walworth (1820-1900). The music first appeared in the Allegemines Katholisches Gesangbuch in Vienna in and around 1774. In my opinion, this is one of the top 5 tunes every Catholic should know. We often associate it with Concluding hymn for Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Here is the music. https://bit.ly/3WHmfwv
