From John 14:6, we hear Jesus explain in the voice of the cantor this weekend in the Gospel Acclamation verse:
I am the way, the truth and the life, says the Lord; no one comes to the Father except through me.  
The words “through me” are very significant.  How do we find the way to heaven?  We find the way to heaven in the elevated host at Holy Mass.  At the elevation, Jesus allows us to see through his very self.   The Eucharist is the way to the kingdom.   We have free access through the door to Christ’s heart.   This is the way to the kingdom.  It is the source of our hope!
