On Sunday, Nathan Laube, international organist, played a concert for a crowd of 160 in our Cathedral.  The concert blended music from three centuries and showcased the capabilities of our organ.  Nathan was very impressed with the playing of this organ.  He was complimentary to the care of the organ.
Our organ is a treasure and enhances the liturgy whenever it is played.
 
So what place to the organ have in the Catholic liturgy.  Is it really a sacred instrument?
