“Rejoice, Jerusalem, and all who love her. Be joyful, all who are mourning; exult and be satisfied at her consoling breast.”
Introit for the Fourth Sunday of Lent (Isaiah 66:10-11)
Despite our current global situation with the Cornovirus epidemic, we rejoice and are joyful as we prepare to celebrate the beginning of Spring and look forward to the grand celebration of Easter in four weeks. The word Lent means, “spring”. With spring comes new life and growth in our spiritual discipleship.
Since Mass has been suspended this weekend in the diocese of Cheyenne, I am sharing with you music from our digital library. This was the music we were prepared to sing for this weekend. Take some time to sing some of these hymns with your family as you reflect on the readings for the 4
th Sunday of Lent Cycle A. The themes from these readings include: Joy, Light, and Faith.
