Luke 21:28 “Stand erect and raise your heads because your redemption is at hand”

Lord Jesus, these words   give us great hope as this year of hope winds down.  Helps us to be drawn to you ever more deeply each day recognizing your great love, and your great mercy!  May you rid us from anything that draws us away from you.  We hear your voice, calling us to be alert, to be open and faithful to your Word.  May the reception of your Word and the Eucharist, give us the special graces to attend to the people we encounter especially those in most need.  We make this prayer in your name with the Father and Holy Spirit, God forever and ever!  Amen
