The Gospel reminds us this weekend not to be envious because God is generous towards others, but rather, grateful that he has shown mercy. Our gratitude is expressed in the hymn, “For the Fruits of this Creation” (AR HYD Y NOS) with its traditional Welch melody. This music is included in the link below. Please join in singing on the refrain of the hymns and Mass settings with face coverings if you participate in Eucharist this weekend. If you are homebound, please enjoy this music with your families or in the safety of your own space. May God bless us all! Happy autumn as well!
Here is a recording of the anthem by Henry Purcell entitled, “O God Thou art My God”. It features our Adult choir. We dedicate this piece to all of us who daily are meeting the challenges caused by this pandemic. No matter what conditions our lives may take, may God be praised without ceasing. One day, we shall meet him face to face like many of our departed by brothers and sisters.
