CHRIST OUR PASCHAL LAMB HAS BEEN SACRIFICED; LET US THEN FEAST WITH JOY IN THE LORD 1 CORINTHIANS 5:7b-8a
This Gospel Acclamation verse sung by the cantor on this Easter Sunday morning is cause for much joy. In fact, it is the source of our human existence. We celebrate as a community of believers, caught up in this great mystery of our faith. We cry out, “Save us, Savior of the world, for by your cross and resurrection, you have set us free.” We are set free from all that weighs us down, under the power of the Holy Cross. We celebrate, beyond the historical event of the resurrection. We celebrate even broader to what is happening to us at this very moment. Christ seeks to take possession of us all. Will we let him reign over our thoughts and minds? Christ is risen, indeed he is risen! https://bit.ly/3DKU3zi Easter Hymns and Mass parts
