Natalie Hales was born into a musical family, beginning piano lessons when she was six years old. Her initial organ studies during high school were with Richard White in Cheyenne and Bob Cavarra at Colorado State University. She completed her undergraduate degree in organ performance at Brigham Young University-Idaho studying with Daniel Kerr and Darwin Wolford. She has pursued graduate studies in music at Kansas State University and the University of Utah, studying organ with David Pickering and Ken Udy. Natalie teaches piano and organ privately and actively substitutes as a church organist at various area churches; she will be teaching music at Cheyenne Classical Academy this coming fall. Natalie thanks her parents, sisters, brother, and organ professors who have encouraged and supported her.
