We conclude our reflection on the Anima Christi, with the words,  “Close to You, Bid Me.”
Our responsorial psalm response for this weekend is “Our Eyes are Fixed on the Lord, pleading for this mercy.”   If our eyes are fixed on the Lord, we will remain close to Him.  
The gospel acclamation states, “The Sprit of the Lord is upon me”.  If we acknowledge the work of the Spirit in our lives, we will remain close to Him.  
“Come to me, all you who labor and our burdened, and I will give you rest” says the Lord in the scripture.   We here this message also in the hymn, “Like a Shepherd” as well.  If we rest soundly in the Lord, we will remain close to Him.
