This weekend Dr. Linda Walters will retire as organist at the Cathedral.  Dr. Walters has blessed us with 28 years of sharing her talents with our faith community. Her earlier years were spent traveling abroad with our Adult choir.  She has played professionally throughout the world.  In addition to serving the cathedral, she also played for many concerts and music festivals and weekly school Mass at St. Mary’s School. Serving as principal organist for many of those years meant playing for diocesan events, Christmas, Holy Week and Easter, as well as penance services, funerals, weddings, Confirmation and First Communion.  We at the cathedral thank Linda and wish her the best.
