As we celebrate this Independence Day, I hope you are enjoying some time with family and friends, as I am doing.
How awesome it is that we can go anywhere and hear the same Mass, celebrated with recognizable music!
Sometimes, we take our religious freedoms for granted.  Let us hold on to these always.
During these days, I challenge you to sing some of the traditional patriotic hymns with your families such as “America the Beautiful,” “God Bless America,” “Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory,” and  “America”. 
 
Also, listen to the words of “This is My Song”.  The text is a beautiful testament to the peace we all desire, for all nations of the world, not just our own.
