“Keep a song in your heart.”   These were the words I often speak to my music students. Perhaps, the voice of God is found in the beautiful melodies that stick.  I am sure you can relate to that tune that keeps ringing in your ears for hours or days.   The melodies that bring you to tears upon hearing them and make the hairs on your arm stand up.  
The beautiful melodies lead us to perhaps a special moment or place in time.  Perhaps it is a distant time or the current moment in time.   We take hold of this precious moment,   and savor it for all it is worth.   If we listen louder, it may even lead us to journal some of these thoughts on paper.  If you are a composer, perhaps it is the melody you invented in your ear that you composed with your own initiative.  It is in these moments that all seems right with the world.
Could it be that we were encountering the voice of God in these moments?  If we are impacted fully, these moments could change us forever.  We are created to be good, but because of our human nature, we stumble from time to time.   In recognition of these shortcomings, we find a need to change.  The change comes when we have a contrite heart, recognizing that we have God’s support and guidance in our efforts to reform.  We also have the intercessions of the multitude of heavenly hosts cheering us on as well!
Prayer
Holy God- it is your voice that speaks to us in the beautiful melodies that are stored in the recesses of our hearts. We know we have your support and guidance.  We depend on you, Lord.  We love you!  Help us to embrace these moments with you, trust in you, be intentional and never let go.  Have mercy on us, O Lord!   Amen
