The words of the Pentecost sequence states, “Heal our wounds, our strength renew; On our dryness pour your dew:” Many have been wounded this past year by acts of violence. We pray that the Spirit may calm hearts from insensitivity to others, and as we feel more comfortable in removing our masks, that we will greet one another with a smile and shed some light conversation mixed with a little humor to combat these senseless acts. The sequence goes on to say, “Bend the stubborn heart and will; Melt the frozen, warm the chill”. Come, Holy Spirit, renew the face of the earth. Here is the music to be presented at most Masses this weekend. https://bit.ly/3w01Pk3 Pentecost Hymns
