Luke 3:4,6 Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths: all flesh shall see the salvation of God How can I prepare the way of the Lord this Advent? Maybe, I can slow down my pace and take more quiet moments to be in God’s presence. Maybe, I can clear away all distractions that create detours to doing what is right and just. That may mean simply doing small acts of kindness and doing something nice to our family members, classmates, co-workers and those we meet in the grocery store, at the gym or on the street corner. Attending daily Mass, reading and reflecting on scripture readings, spending time in front of the blessed sacrament, and receiving the mercy of God through reconciliation can be a great way to prepare the way of the Lord and listen to God’s voice.
