Pastoral Care is a vital ministry to the faithful of the Cathedral of St. Mary. It is critical that those unable to attend Holy Mass, or other offerings by our parish that promote spiritual growth remain connected to our faith community and feel the presence of Christ through our caring ministry.
Thankfully, our faith community has been blessed with wonderful volunteer Pastoral Care Ministers who share their own special gifts of faith and caring with each person they visit in the home, hospital, nursing home, and retirement center. These ministers bring the Lord in the Holy Eucharist to those who are confined, as well as provide spiritual support in a safe, caring environment.
Please contact the parish office if you or someone you know is in need of a visit from a Priest, Deacon, or Pastoral Care Minister and/or wish to receive the sacraments of Holy Communion, Reconciliation, or Anointing of the Sick.
If you feel the Lord may be calling you to open your heart to minister in this much needed area, please contact the parish office to obtain additional information for your discernment.
